Pricey vacuum stolen

Oswego Police are investigating the theft of a Dyson vacuum from the Oswego Meijer store sometime before 1 p.m. Oct. 11. The vacuum is valued at about $499. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s. 

Medical emergency while driving

A medical emergency behind the wheel led to two citations for a 70-year-old Boulder Hill man Oct. 10. According to police, the man was driving along the access road behind a business in the 2500 block of Route 30 at about 12:50 p.m. when he suffered a medical emergency and hit a tree with his car. He was transported to Rush-Copley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, and was later cited for not having insurance nor a valid drivers license. 

Purse stolen

An Oswego woman reported her purse was stolen while she was at a business in the 1100 block of Douglas Road at about 9 p.m. Oct. 8, according to an Oswego Police report. The purse and its contents were valued at about $500, police said. 

Marijuana possession

Aarika Moreno, 18, of Montgomery, was arrested for marijuana possession at about 11 p.m. Oct. 7 near Willowwood and Chipmunk drives, according to an Oswego Police report. 

DUI

Nicolle Hamm, 24, of Yorkville, was arrested for DUI and illegal transportation of alcohol at about 1:20 a.m. Oct. 8 near Boulder Hill Pass and Brockway, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Alcohol possession

Cheyenne Pendzinski, 19, of Oswego, was arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor and illegal transportation of alcohol at about 8 p.m. Oct. 5, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Fight at soccer game

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating an alleged battery that took place during a soccer game between juveniles at about 6:50 p.m. Oct. 5 near Sonora and Saugatuck. No charges have been filed, but there are suspects in the case. 

Paraphernalia possession

Justin Lawson, 26, of Yorkville, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at about 10:50 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 0-99 block of Merchants Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Domestic battery

Andrew Forbes, 52, of Oswego, was arrested for domestic battery at about 11:45 p.m. Oct. 4 at his home in the 300 block of Chicago Road, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Deer hit on Route 30

An Aurora man hit a deer that was crossing Route 30 at about 8:45 a.m. Oct. 4, according to an Oswego Police report.
