Boy 'Jumped' at Halloween Party: Police

Resisting arrest

Je'Lisa Correa, 23, was arrested for resisting arrest and obstructing a police officer at about 3 a.m. Nov. 1 at her home in the 1500 block of Light Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Deputies originally called to the scene for a keeping the peace report. 

DUI, aggravated battery to police officer

Nina Kielich, 29, of Aurora, was arrested for DUI, aggravated resisting arrest and aggravated battery to a police officer at about 4:45 a.m. Nov. 1 near Douglas and Long Beach roads, according to an Oswego Police report. Kielich was involved in a one-car accident before the arrest, police said. 

Police investigate battery at party

Oswego Police took a report from an Aurora woman who said her son was "jumped" at about 11 p.m. at a Halloween party in the 500 block of Avon Court. The boy was injured, but no arrests have been made, police said. 

Pot possession, littering

Carlos Aguirre, 24 of Cicero, was arrested for marijuana possession at about 3:15 a.m. Oct. 26 near Route 31 and the Route 30 Bypass, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. While being pulled over for running a stop sign, deputies saw Aguirre allegedly throw a bag of marijuana out of his car window. He was also cited for littering, disobeying a stop sign and driving an uninsured vehicle. 

Phone stolen at OEHS

Oswego Police received a report of a theft of an iPhone at OEHS at about 2 p.m. Oct. 26. The phone is valued at about $200, police said.

Domestic battery, aggravated assault

Kendall County Sheriff's deputies responded to the 0-99 block of Eagle View Lane at about 9:50 p.m. Oct. 26 for a report of a domestic battery and aggravated assault. No arrests have been made, but an investigation is ongoing, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Halloween damages

A resident in the 0-99 block of Amesbury Road reported that someone damaged his inflatable Halloween decorations sometime before 5 p.m. Oct. 25. There are no suspects in the case, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
