OBSA Helps Collect Shoes for Oswego Senior Center Project

Nov 01, 2015 07:29PM ● Published by Steven Jack

OBSA players recently donated shoes to the Oswego Senior Center in support of the World Wear Project.

The Oswego Senior Center extends a big thank you to the youth volunteers of the Oswego Baseball and Softball Association for a successful fall shoe drive.

Through the OBSA’s teamwork and dedication, the teams collected and donated 232 pounds of shoes to the Oswego Senior Center in support of the partnership with World Wear Project.

The winning team with most pounds of shoes was 12U Navy, and to thank them for their support and efforts, the team members received a pizza party.

The OBSA is a youth sports organization based in Oswego and its mission is: Protecting Our Nation's Youth (P.O.N.Y).
