Woman Injured in Attempted Robbery Wednesday Night

Oswego Police are searching for a suspect in an attempted armed robbery that took place late Wednesday night in the 200 block of Willington Way.

According to police, a woman reported that someone pushed her down outside her car while it was parked in her driveway at about 10:25 p.m. The woman did not have her purse, and the suspect fled on foot after another car drove past. The woman received minor injuries, police said.

The suspect fled on foot southbound on Southbury Boulevard. The Kendall County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit assisted in looking for the suspect, but was unsuccessful. 

The suspect is described as a white man, less than 30 years old, 5-feet 10-inches with a skinny build. He was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
