Oswego Convenience Store Robbed at Gunpoint

Oswego Police are searching for a man who robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store early Sunday morning. 

According to police, a man entered the store at 2 Merchants Drive at 3:15 a.m. armed with a handgun and demanded money. He then fled the store and headed southbound toward Fernwood Road. 

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 20-25. He is about 5-feet-9-inches tall with an average build. He wore a black coat, blue pants, gloves and a black face mask, police said. 

Anyone with information is asked to call Oswego Police at 630-551-7300.

This is the second armed robbery in the area in recent weeks.
The Oswego Arby's restaurant was robbed at gunpoint by two men at about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 28.
