Juvenile arrested for stealing car
A 15-year-old boy was arrested at about 2:30 p.m. Dec. 15 for stealing a car in the 6000 block of Dover Court, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Deputies originally were called to the area for a report of the boy getting in and out of cars. He was arrested for theft of a motor vehicle, burglary to a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen property, police said.
Several residents of the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass reported their cars were broken into sometime after 8 p.m. Dec. 14 and before 6 a.m. the following morning. There are no suspects int the burglaries, but the investigation is ongoing, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.
Ruben Madriz, 60, of Aurora, was arrested for DUI at about 9:30 p.m. Dec. 14 near Route 30 and Douglas Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office. Madriz was pulled over after a deputy saw him strike a curb with his vehicle.
An Oswego resident in the 0-99 block of Main St., reported packages were stolen from his mailbox sometime before 1:30 p.m. Dec. 13, according to an Oswego Police report.
Maxwell Black, 25, of Aurora, was arrested for DUI at about 3:50 a.m. Dec. 12 near Washington and Adams, according to an Oswego Police report.
Scott Bywater, 43, of 158 Long Beach Road, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery at about 10 p.m. Dec. 12 in the 0-99 block of Brockway Drive, according to an Oswego Police report.
A resident in the 400 block of Gloria Lane reported to Oswego Police that someone stole two packages from their front porch sometime around Dec. 1. The theft was reported to police Dec. 10, and the contents of the packages were valued at about $630.
Junior high student arrested
A Plank Junior High School student was arrested for battery at about 12:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at the school, according to an Oswego Police report. The 13-year-old girl was released to the custody of her parents.
Leaving the scene of an accident
A 16-year-old Oswego High School student was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a valid license after he hit a school bus in the parking lot of the school at about 2:40 p.m. Dec. 9. The student was arrested shortly after driving away from the accident.
Burglary to vehicle
An Oswego woman reported someone broke into her car while it was parked in the 1000 block of Station Drive sometime before 8 a.m. Dec. 8, according to an Oswego Police report.
