Four people were hospitalized Wednesday night after a hit and run accident along Route 34.

According to Kendall County Sheriff's Deputy Bryan Harl, a 25-year-old Montgomery man was driving at about 8:45 p.m. in the 5000 block of Route 34 when he was struck by a vehicle and lost control.

The driver's vehicle then left the road, flipped on its side and struck a tree, Harl said.

The man and his three passengers were all taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Harl said the accident is being investigated as a hit and run.

Anyone with information about this accident can call the Kendall County Sheriff's Office at (630) 553-7500.
