$1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold at Oswego Business

Dec 30, 2015 12:06PM ● Published by Shannon Antinori

If you play the lotto and you’ve shopped at the Orchard Road Jewel-Osco recently, you may want to check your ticket.

The Oswego store sold a winning ticket worth $1 million for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The numbers on the winning QuickPick ticket matched the first five numbers in the drawing: 20-25-55-62-74.

If you’re the lucky winner, you should immediately sign the ticket and call the Illinois Lottery Claims Department at 217-524-5147, according to the lottery. Prizes can be claimed at one of the lottery’s five prize centers, located in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights, the lotto said.

Lottery winners have on year from the drawing date — Dec. 29, 2015 — to claim their prize.

The Jewel-Osco store will receive a bonus worth 1 percent of the prize amount, in this case $10,000.

This is the second million dollar ticket sold in Oswego this year. The first was sold at the Oswego Speedway Gas Station in August.
