Oswego Presbyterian Church’s Earth Care Team has partnered with the Village of Oswego to provide polystyrene recycling this Saturday, Jan. 9 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Public Works facility which is located at 100 Theodore Dr.

Recyclable materials marked PS 6 and should be dropped off in a clear contained package (i.e. clear garbage bag) to be recycled. Polystyrene food containers should be clean, and packaging foam should be separated from tape and other packaging materials. Foam insulation and other types of foams (non-polystyrene foams) will not be accepted.

Common forms of polystyrene include packing peanuts and foam used to pack appliances and large electronics.

For more information, call the Village of Oswego at 630-551-2343.
