Oswego Man Arrested for Driving 117 mph:Police

Domestic battery

Tiffany Henderson, 32, Oswego, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery at about 12:40 a.m. Jan 9 near Route 71 and Panther Way, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Woman hospitalized after accident

A 24-year-old Plainfield woman was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center at about 5 a.m. Jan. 9 after falling asleep at the wheel near 127th Street and Gilmore Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Her car left the road and struck a utility pole, breaking the pole in half, the sheriff's office said. 

Underage drinking

Jacob Rodriguez, 18, of Montgomery, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 8 p.m. Jan. 8 at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Cell phone taken

An Oswego woman reported a black iPhone 6 was stolen from Thompson Junior High sometime before 5 p.m Jan. 7, according to an Oswego Police report. The phone is valued at about $700, police said.

DUI, open alcohol

Cameron Kuras, 26, of Oswego, was arrested for DUI and possessing open alcohol at about 4:20 a.m. Jan 7 near his home in the 100 block of Park Street, according to an Oswego Police report. Adrianne Klis, 26, of the same address, was arrested for obstructing an officer, police said. 

Speeding

Andres Valenzuela, 18, of Aurora, was arrested for speeding 35 mph over the speed limit at about 10:45 p.m. Jan. 6 near Route 30 and Fifth St., according to an Oswego Police report. 

Speeding

Nicholas Tadych, 21, of Oswego, was arrested for driving 35 mph over the speed limit at about 11:35 p.m. Jan. 4 near Route 126 and Grove Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Tadych was allegedly driving 117 mph in a 55 mph zone, the sheriff's office said. 

DUI

Erica Ransford, 29, of Oswego Township, was arrested for DUI at about 2:45 a.m. Jan. 1 in the 2500 block of Light Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Ransford was originally spotted sleeping in her vehicle, the sheriff's office said.
