Fox Chase Participates in Day of Acceptance

Jan 27, 2016 03:10PM ● Published by Steven Jack

Fox Chase Elementary School staff and students were decked out in blue to celebrate the International Day of Acceptance on Wednesday, January 20.

The day was spearheaded by the 3E Love organization, and is designed to increase awareness and acceptance of people with disabilities. Students wore blue to show their support for this cause. Other activities during the day included classroom photos and some raffles for students participating in the day. Students also learned about the importance of accepting others who are differently-abled than themselves.

3E Love was started in 2007 to increase awareness and support for individuals with disabilities. The logo references their mission: Embrace diversity. Educate your community.  Empower each other. Love life.
