Cutline: Have some holiday fun during the Little White School Museum’s free Easter make and take family craft activity on Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20. Visitors of all ages are invited to come to the museum anytime between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. either day to make their Easter fashion and decorating treasures. E-mail or call 630-554-2999 for more information.

Get ready for your Easter celebration by making a special paper bonnet and creating other decorations bound to add color to any celebration on Saturday and Sunday, March 19-20, at the historic Little White School Museum, 72 Polk Street (Polk at Jackson), Oswego.

Visitors of all ages, from 5 to 95, are invited to stop by in any time between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. either day to participate. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required, although groups are urged to call ahead to make sure the museum has sufficient materials on hand.

While visiting the museum, don’t miss their seasonal “Easter Bonnets on Parade” exhibition featuring men’s and women’s fashionable hats from the 19th and 20th centuries. Dozens of colorful examples from two centuries worth of headgear have been added to exhibits throughout the museum.

Look carefully to find and identify all of them! In addition, the museum’s seasonal exhibit case has been filled with
Easter memories, from holiday-inspired sheet music to greeting cards. “Easter Bonnets on Parade” is available now through the end of April.

For more information, e-mail or call 630-554-2999 during regular museum hours.
