Alcohol Charges at Junior High; Two Injured in Rollover Crash: Police

Domestic battery 

Bruce Gouldsberry, 63, of the 200 block of Stillwater Court, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery at about 11:40 p.m. March 20 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report. 

DUI

Kyle Olsen, of the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East, was arrested for DUI, disobeying a stop sign and improper lane usage at about 2:30 a.m. March 19 near Old Post and Pearces Ford Road, according to an Oswego Police report. 

DUI

Yuliana Martinez-Avila, 28, of Yorkville, was arrested for DUI at about 1:20 p.m. March 18 near Concord and Tuscany Trail, according to an Oswego Police report. 

DUI

Xavier Santiago, 27, of Aurora, was arrested for DUI, driving an uninsured car and improper lane usage at about 2:40 a.m. March 18 near Douglas and Long Beach roads, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Rollover crash 

Two drivers were injured in a rollover crash at about 9 a.m. March 17 near Orchard and Mill roads, according to an Oswego Police report. A 48 year-old Yorkville woman was stranded on the roadway with her hazard lights flashing when a car driven by Lydia Cano, 29, of Plainfield struck the stranded car and rolled over on its side. Cano was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and both women were taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for minor injuries, police said. 

Alcohol at school

A Plank Junior High School student was arrested for possession of alcohol by a minor at about 12:40 p.m. March 17, according to an Oswego Police report.

Theft

Oswego Police reported that someone stole about $270 worth of merchandise from TJ Maxx at about 1 p.m. March 17. The suspect is described as a white female about 35 years old and dressed in a dark hoodie and pajama pants.

Bikes stolen

A resident in the 300 block of Cascade Lane reported two bikes stolen from the home sometime before 4 p.m. March 16, according to an Oswego Police report. The bikes were valued at about $1,750.

Equipment stolen

About $2,200 in maintenance items were reported stolen from a truck parked at Keith's Car Care sometime before 9:40 a.m. March 16, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Battery

Jessica Watkins, 18, of the 300 block of Boulder Hill Pass, was arrested for battery at about 12:40 p.m. March 14 after beating another woman in the 100 block of Rickard Drive, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Watkins allegedly pulled the woman's hair and hit her in the head several times. Watkins left the scene before deputies arrived, but she was later stopped by Yorkville Police.
