Drunk Driver Arrested for Leaving the Scene of an Accident: Police

Vacant home entered/damaged

An Oswego man reported that a home he owns at 50 Long Beach Road was broken into and damaged sometime before 12:15 p.m. April 3, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. There are no suspects in the case, the Sheriff's Office said.

Property damage

A resident of the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East, reported that someone broke a window on his vehicle sometime before 8 a.m. April 3, according to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office said there are suspects in the case. 

Domestic battery

Jaeson Scroggins, 37, of the 0-99 block of Cayman Drive, was arrested for domestic battery at about 11:30 p.m. April 2 at his home, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. 

Domestic battery

Travis Shallcross, 35, was arrested for domestic battery, resisting a police officer, and unlawful interference of the reporting of a domestic report at about 9:45 p.m. April 2 at his home in the 400 block of Main St., according to an Oswego Police report. 

DUI/hit and run

John Vos, 37, of Yorkville was arrested for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident at about 2:20 a.m. April 2 after an accident near Route 31 and Light Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. After leaving the scene of the accident, Montgomery Police caught up with Vos near Route 31 and Webster and turned him over to the custody of the sheriff's office.

Residential burglary

A resident of the 2400 Light Road reported that someone broke into her home sometime before 11:30 a.m. April 2 and stole various electronic items, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. There are no suspects in the case.

DUI

Wes Parker, 29, of the 200 block of Paradise Parkway, was arrested for DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 1:40 a.m. April 1 near Wolf's Crossing Road and Route 34, according to an Oswego Police report.

Fight at OEHS

Two female juveniles, one 15 and one 17, were arrested for disorderly conduct at about 7:15 a.m. April 1 at Oswego East High School. 

Aggravated battery

Amy Strater, 44, of the 600 block of Mansfield Way, was arrested for aggravated battery of a police office at about 3 p.m. April 1 near Southbury Boulevard and Litchfield Way, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Domestic battery

Craig Castrejon, 53, of the 0-99 block of Whitney Way, was arrested for domestic battery at about 6:45 a.m. April 1, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. He is alleged to have battered two family members during the incident, the sheriff's office said.

Medication stolen

A resident of the 300 block of McGrath Drive reported that someone stole several medications from his vehicle sometime before 7:50 p.m. March 30. 

Retail theft

Ethan Caver, of the 0-99 block of Amy Drive, was arrested for retail theft at about 6:30 p.m. March 30 in the 2400 block of Route 34, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Domestic battery

Laura Downs, 37, of the 300 block of Chicago Road, was arrested for domestic battery at about 5 a.m. March 30, at her home, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Damaged road sign

Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating an incident in which a vehicle ran over a median sign along Route 31 near Caterpillar Drive. According to the sheriff's office, someone driving a dark colored SUV ran over the sign at about 5:30 a.m. March 29.

Domestic battery

Josephy Sisto, 55, of Joliet, was arrested for domestic battery at about 3:30 p.m. March 29 at 4571 Route 71, according to an Oswego Police report. Dominic Sisto, 25, also of Joliet was arrested for criminal damage to property during the incident, police said. 

Pot possession

Jessica Washington, 20, of Aurora, was arrested for possession of marijuana at about 9 p.m. March 28 near Route 25 and Boulder Hill Pass, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. Washington was originally pulled over for driving with only one headlight.

Trucks burglarized

The Kendall County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary to several semi trucks at Richards Building Supply, 5462 Route 34, that occurred at about 11 a.m. March 26. There no suspects in the burglary.
