The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance after a girl was approached by a car full of men in Boulder Hill Friday afternoon.

According to Deputy Mike Mrozek, a 14-year-old girl said she was walking in the area of Long Beach and Winrock roads at about 3 p.m. when she was approached by five men riding in a black Hyundai.

The man seated in the rear passenger seat rolled down the window, and asked the girl to get into the car. The girl immediately ran home, and the vehicle left the area, Mrozek said.

The men were all described as in their 20s. Four of them were black and another one was white, Mrozek said. The man who spoke to the girl was also described as having dreadlocks with caramel tips.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Kendall County Sheriff's Office at 630-553-5856 or email detectives@kendall.il.us. Anonymous callers may call 630-553-5999.
