Police Chase Ends with Arrest

Fleeing police

Edgar Bravo, 36, of the 0-99 block of Old Post Road, was arrested for aggravated fleeing, driving with license suspended, possession of marijuana and speeding 26 mph over the speed limit after leading Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies on a chase that lasted for three miles at about 9:30 p.m. May 16. Bravo eventually stopped at his home and was placed into custody, the sheriff's office said. 

Marijuana possession at OHS

A 16-year-old girl was arrested for marijuana possession at about 11 a.m. May 16 at Oswego High School, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Storage unit burglarized

A woman reported her storage unit in the 1000 block of Weisbrook Drive was broken into sometime before 1:30 p.m. May 16. About $1,470 in items were removed from the unit, Oswego Police said 

Business vehicles broken into

A business in the 0-99 block of Stonehill Road reported that several of its vehicles were broken into sometime before 7:30 a.m. May 16. Oswego Police are investigating the incident. 

Car window smashed

A resident in the 2200 block of Light Road reported that someone smashed out a car window sometime before 11:50 a.m. May 16, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. A suspect has been identified. 

Damage to property arrest

Darren Fuson, 26, of 2015 Farmington Lakes Drive, was arrested for criminal damage to property at about 12:30 a.m. May 13 near his home, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Battery at OEHS

A 15-year-old girl was arrested for battery at about 3:45 p.m. May 12 at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Fight at park

Oswego Police are investigating a fight that occurred between two juveniles at Chesterfield Park at about 6 p.m. May 11. No charges have been filed, police said. 

Phone stolen at Long Beach

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office took a report of a $600 iPhone that was stolen from a student at Long Beach Elementary School at about 4:30 p.m. May 10. No suspects have been identified.


Blair Strater, 21, of Oswego, was arrested for criminal damage to vehicle and battery at about 4:15 p.m. May 10 at his home in the 600 block of Mansfield Way, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Domestic battery

Madelene Perez, 32, was arrested for domestic battery at about 1:30 a.m. May 9 at her home in the 100 block of Ashland Street, according to an Oswego Police report. Enrique Perez, 36, of the same address, was arrested at the same time on an outstanding warrant, police said.
