Oswego Country Market Returning with Crop of New Vendors

The Oswego Country Market kicks off the 2016 season on Sunday, June 5th.
A group of nearly 40 vendors will be set up on Sundays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Shop local with plenty of choices to buy fresh produce, meats, eggs, artisan cheeses, specialty foods like pasta, olives, popcorn, honey, & spices, and handmade items in our outdoor, open air market.
Oswego’s Country Market will once again include vendors located on Main Street and in the parking lot on Main Street between Tripp Insurance and the American Male. Plenty of parking is available on the street, and if you walk or bike, our location is just off the Fox River Trail and the Veteran’s Walkway.
We’ve got a bike rack this year at the market, so you can park your wheels while you do your shopping. If you need to take a seat to rest your feet or eat a treat, we will have tables and chairs available in the parking lot next to Lil’ Emm’s Children’s Boutique and Floral Expressions & Gifts on Main Street.
New this season, the Oswego Country Market will be offering the “Market Muscle” program where community groups can volunteer to help market visitors carry their purchases to their cars. This is a great way for scout troops, sports teams, clubs, and organizations to “lend a hand”, while ensuring that everyone who wants to stock up each Sunday has enough hands to get all of their goodies home. Interested groups can contact Cori Veverka for more information.
Returning vendors this summer include Albo Acres, Allium Sage Botanics, Aroma Roots, Blue Freedom Produce, ChiTaco, Covered In Chocolate, The Cutting Edge, Ferndell Farms, Gallery’s Choice, Gandi the Juice Guru, Garden Joy, Gourmet on the Go, Grumpy Gaucho, Lottie’s Lemonade, MushyFace Cookie Company, Norway Farms Produce, Olives 4 You, Page's Popcorn, Papa's Natural Honey, Parmesans Wood Stone Pizza, Popcan Jewelry, Six Generations Farmin Local, Sol Gardens, Stamper Cheese Co., Sunset Growers, Sweet Sensations, Tabletop Beanbag Games, Three Maples Farm, The Tomato Guy, Tranquility Base Candles & Diffusers, & Windy Acres.
New vendors for the 2016 season include, A Naturally Balanced Dog, American Pride Microfarm, Great Harvest Bread, The Olive Gallery, PKC Nubians, Sweet P’s Homemade Cookies, & The Tea House.
There are other vendors (old and new) that we hope to add to the lineup before opening day! If you are interested in learning about becoming a vendor, please contact Cori Veverka, Market Manager at the Oswegoland Park District at 630-554-4433, or email email@example.com.
