Could one of the dogs attending the PrairieFest’s Prairie Paws pet adoption event be the companion for you?
There will be many friendly pooches waiting to find potential homes on Saturday, June 18th. Area rescue groups are excited to make all the necessary introductions. Prairie Paws will be held on PrairieFest grounds, south of Oswego High School 4250 Rt. 71 at the soccer fields from 10am-2pm.
Prairie Paws is part of the four day PrairieFest Festival, hosted by the Oswegoland Park District over PrairieFest in Oswego. This year will be the fourth year for the pet adoption event. The event has had great success in finding loving homes for numerous furry friends.
There will also be several vendors selling items and offering free services to newly adopted pets.
The rescue organizations scheduled to participate in this event are: Help Save Pets, Kane County Animal Control, Wagging Hearts, Kendall County Animal Control, Just Giants Rescue, As Good as Gold Golden Retriever Rescue and Rover Rescue.
The adoptable dogs are excited to be there, as are the rescue organizations, and offer lots of fun for the family.
PrairiePaws looks to find a loving and happy home for each animal waiting to be adopted and hope the community will open their hearts and homes to these deserving companions. The day is filled with children, and adults of all ages greeting and giving attention to receptive doggies, taking walks in the field, laughing, and getting to know a new friend.
Love comes in all sizes, shapes, and colors at the Prairie Paws Pet Adoption event. Anyone interested in adding this happiness and care to their life is invited to come out and meet these great dogs.
