Rotary Club of Oswego is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2016 scholarships.
This scholarship is given to a high school senior student that has met the requirements pertaining to leadership roles, volunteerism and the meaning of the 4-Way Test and Service Above Self, which are both guiding principles of Rotary International.
This year's winners are Brandon Labora of Oswego High School and Katelyn Herndon of OEHS.
The Rotary Club of Oswego was chartered in February of 2003 by men and women who reside and/or work within the Oswego community. For more than 12 years, the Rotary Club of Oswego has been bringing together people and resources to improve lives within our Community and around the world.
Rotary Club of Oswego is known for our signature charity events like Rotary Duck Race and Chips for Charity, as well as Operation Impact. We support the charities of Rotary International as well as local charities including: Coats For Kendall, Kendall County PADS, Kendall County Food Pantry, Alliance for Smiles, Kendall County 4H, Oswego Family YMCA, Big Brothers/Little Sisters, CASA Kendall CO, Mutual Ground, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, and many more.
