Presented by Lara Solonickne, the Oswego Historic Preservation Commission invites you to learn about Sears kit homes on Saturday June 4th from 1:00PM – 2:30PM at the Little White School Museum (72 Polk Street).  Since we have recently discovered more than 15 “kit homes” in Oswego, we thought this would be a great way to celebrate Historic Preservation month.

Lara will talk about Sears kit homes, how to identify/authenticate these homes using markings, labels and other documents, and will give an overview of some of the other companies that offered kit homes.

This program is for you if you think you might live in a kit home, you’re interested in local history, or you just want to come out and learn something new!

For more information call:630-551-2332, email: kzilly@oswegoil.org.  No pre-registration needed.
