Woman Victim of Battery After Break-In: Police

A resident in the 700 block of Apollo reported the roof of a vehicle was damaged by fireworks sometime before 5:30 p.m. July 5, according to an Oswego Police report.
Demetrius Link, 31, was arrested for domestic battery at about 11:50 p.m. July 4 at his home in the 1500 block of Light Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office. Link is alleged to have made physical contact with a family member, the sheriff's office said.
A 14-year-old Boulder Hill girl was arrested for battery at about 11 p.m. July 3 for an incident that occurred earlier in the evening on Merchants Drive, according to an Oswego Police report.
Ronald Coleman, 64, of Chicago, was arrested for domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of a domestic battery and criminal damage to property at about 10:30 p.m. July 3 in the 0-99 block of Afton Drive, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
Light poles damaged
Oswego Police took a report for three light poles that were struck by a car sometime before 1:50 a.m. July 1. There was no damage estimate in the hit and run incident, and there are no suspects in the incident.
A 49-year-old Aurora woman said someone broke into her home in the 1000 block of Route 30 by kicking in the front door at about 5 a.m. July 1. The woman said she was then the victim of a battery. There are no suspects, but the Kendall County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the incident.
Two vehicles in the 400 block of Grapevine Trail were broken into overnight June 29, according to an Oswego Police report. In one incident $120 in cash was taken. In the other, $300 in cash and a debit card was reported stolen. Both cars were unlocked, police said.
A 64-year-old Oswego man was hospitalized after a three car crash at about 2:15 p.m. June 29 near Boulder Hill Pass and Circle Drive West, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. A car driven by a 22-year-old Montgomery woman failed to stop at the intersection and struck the vehicle driven by the Oswego man. The man's car then hit another car and then rolled onto its side. The man was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for his injuries, the sheriff's office said. There were no other injuries, the sheriff's office said.
