According to Oswego Police spokeswoman Cathy Nevara, someone damaged a window with a brick and then entered the school and discharged a fire extinguisher inside. About $1,500 in damage was done to the school, police said.
This is the third such incident at schools in the Churchill subdivision in the past few weeks.
Oswego Police are investigating an incident in which someone broke into Churchill before 6 a.m. June 22 through an unlocked roof hatch and discharged two fire extinguishers in the school's gym and stole another extinguisher. About $1,000 in damage was done, police said.
Nearby Plank Junior High was also broken into two days prior to that. In that incident nothing appeared to be stolen but a small amount of property damage was done. It is unknown how entry was gained into Plank, police said.
