Several Bikes Stolen Across Oswego

Child on bike struck by car

A 13-year-old bicyclist received minor injuries after being struck by a car driven by an Oswego man while riding in the crosswalk at North Adams and Jackson Streets at about 4:45 p.m. July 15, according to an Oswego Police report. The child was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center for treatment, police said. 

Domestic battery

Lindsay Behrens, 28, of Montgomery, was arrested for domestic battery at about 2:40 a.m. July 15 at her home in the 0-99 block of Chatham Place, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. She was taken to the Kendall County Jail. 

Car broken into

A resident in the 400 block of Blue Ridge Court reported that a vehicle was broken into sometime before 7:15 a.m. July 13, according to an Oswego Police report. About $3,400 in items were taken from the car, police said. 

Business broken into

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident in which a business in the 2400 block of Plainfield Road was broken into sometime before noon July 13. No other information was available and the investigation continues, the sheriff's office said. 

Bike stolen

An Oswego resident reported a stolen bike from the 700 block of Versailles Parkway at about 2:30 p.m. July 13. The bike was stolen from in front of the home by a black male between the ages of 15-20, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with dreadlocks, police said. The bike is valued at about $120. In a separate incident three days later another resident of the same block reported a bike stole from the the home's garage. That bike was valued at about $400, police said.

Domestic battery

Jason Sconyers, 35, of the 100 block of Harbor Drive, was arrested for domestic battery at about 1:40 a.m. July 12, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.

Ricardo Perez, 23, of Aurora, was arrested for domestic battery at about 5:30 p.m. July 12 in the 2300 block of Route 34, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Hallmark store ripped off

An employee of the Oswego Hallmark store reported that someone passed a fake $20 at the store sometime in late June. The incident was reported to Oswego Police July 12. 

Bike Stolen

An Oswego resident reported a bike was stolen while it was parked in the 300 block of Douglas Road at about 2 p.m. July 11, according to an Oswego Police report. The bike is valued at about $300, police said. 

Bike theft

A resident of the 100 block of Circle Drive West reported someone took a vehicle from the property sometime before 5:30 p.m. July 11, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. The vehicle is valued at about $75. 

Domestic battery

Cory Pringle, 28, of Oswego, was arrested for domestic battery at about 5 a.m. July 9 at his home in the 300 block of Kensington Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Tires slashed

A resident of the 0-99 block of Marnel Road reported someone slashed two tires on a vehicle sometime before 11:30 p.m. July 8, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. 

Domestic battery

Arnold Dunem, 61, of Oswego, was arrested for domestic battery at about 11:15 p.m. July 6 at his home in the 400 block of Brookside Drive, according to an Oswego Police report.
