On Tuesday, August 2, 2016, as part of the National Night Out, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office, Oswego Police Department, and Oswego Fire Protection District will play exhibition baseball games against youth from the Oswego Baseball and Softball Association and Oswego Cobra Baseball.

The games will played at Prairie Point Park located 4120 Plainfield Road in Oswego with first pitch at 7 pm. The game will be announced and broadcasted by WSPY’s very own Jim Teckenbrock.

Admission is a suggested donation of $5 with kids under 12 and seniors free.

All proceeds will benefit your local Kendall County Special Olympians. These games played by local first responders against the future leaders of our community, provide an opportunity to enhance relationships between the community and first responders under positive circumstances, while bringing back a true sense of community.

For information regarding the event, please contact Community Policing Deputy David Lawson at 630-553-7500 ext 1179 or dlawson@co.kendall.il.us.
