The Oswegoland Park District would like to give a huge thanks to everyone who helped make the 30th annual I Tried A Triathlon Sunday a wonderful day of personal achievement of so many.
We had athletes and those who never considered themselves athletes crossing the finish line after a 250m swim, 6 mile bike ride, and 2 mile run.
This event was possible because of the help from the Oswego Police Department, Oswego Fire Protection District, the Oswego High School Science Honor Society and all our generous volunteers.
Our thanks to all the people in our community who served as course marshals, handed cups of water to thirsty runners, and who worked the swim, bike and run legs all morning long. We celebrate with everyone who made us proud crossing the finish line. They didn’t just try, they crushed it!
