The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported home invasion in which a suspect allegedly pointed a gun at a homeowner before driving away in an SUV with two other men, according to police.

Deputy Mike Mrozek said a homeowner in the 0-30 block of Park Lane in Bristol Township was reportedly in the garage at about 10:45 a.m. Thursday when an SUV occupied by three males pulled into the driveway.

The victim told police a white male with a bald head exited the SUV, entered the garage and pointed a handgun at the victim, police said. The suspect then exited the garage without saying anything or stealing anything, according to the homeowner.

The suspect reportedly fled in the white SUV with two other men. The driver was described as a white male with short dark hair and possibly a goatee, Mrozek said. The homeowner did not have a description of the third male, and the SUV may have had the number 7 near the end of the license plate number, according to police.

Deputies responded to the home and spoke with residents in the area, but the alleged offenders were not located, Mrozek said.

There were no injuries, and the incident remains under investigation.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to email or call 630-553-5999.
