Kendall County Law Enforcement Memorial Dedicated

The Kendall County Association of Chiefs of Police recently held a dedication ceremony for the newly constructed Kendall County Law Enforcement Memorial.

The ceremony took place on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at the site of the newly constructed memorial at the Kendall County Courthouse at 807 W. John St. in Yorkville. The Kendall County Association of Chiefs of Police began planning this memorial in 2013 and recently completed the project.

The Association received the support of many Kendall County organizations and beyond. Due to overwhelming support from area contractors and vendors, the project was completed signficantly under budget. Organizations that donated their time, money or efforts to the project include:
