Fall is starting to color the landscape all over Oswegoland. The leaves are changing, the air is crisp, and everyone’s thinking turkey. The Oswegoland Park District’s annual Gobbler Hobbler 10k and Mashed Potato Mile is ready to November 13th  at 8:30am.

This traditional run through neighborhoods and up and down the beautiful Fox River features bald eagles as well as course marshals. The finish line boasts the event’s signature walking pancakes for all athletes.

Cozy navy blue hoodie sweatshirts are available for every pre-registered athletes, whether in the 10K or the One Mile race. Early bird discounts for pre-registration continue through Halloween with $18/runner or walker for Mashed Potato Milers and $40/10K runners.

Gobbler Hobbler has been a community race since the early 80s. The race serves the Oswegoland Park District vision to “create opportunities for a healthy community.” Neighbors on the course are welcome to join this fun mission by cheering on all athletes and helping keep our racers safe.

There are plenty of ways to get involved with this event! If you would like to volunteer as a Course Marshal or at a Water Station, please contact Kelly Hauge at or call (630) 554 – 4445. All volunteers will receive the park district’s gratitude and a free sweatshirt for their time and efforts.
