This Halloween, the Oswego Police Department is cracking down on unbuckled vehicle occupants by participating in the state-wide Click It or Ticket It enforcement campaign.

Officers will be working extra night and daytime hours during the entire Halloween weekend. Illinois law requires all vehicle occupants, regardless of age or position in the vehicle, to wear a properly adjusted and fastened seat belt.

This law enforcement crackdown is made possible by federal traffic safety funds through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
