Download the .pdf maps below.
The maps, labeled as Scenario 1 and Scenario 2, are attached as downloadable .pdfs above this post. The maps include several pieces of supporting data such as boundary projection tables, proposed changes to the district feeder system and criteria being used by the Boundary Committee to determine the new boundaries.
The maps are also available to be viewed at each school in the district. The Special Program Placement Chart is also attached above.
Parents are encouraged to download the maps and bring any comments and concerns to one of two public forums scheduled for next week:
- Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m., at Bednarcik Junior High School
- Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m., at Traughber Junior High School
To allow for comments from those unable to attend the forums, an online survey will be available at www.sd308.org beginning at 7:30 p.m. November 1 until NOON on Friday, November 4. At that time the survey window will be closed so that district boundary consultant RSP has time to compile findings.
Following the forums, the public feedback gathered will be discussed by the Boundary Committee at its final meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 at Bednarcik.
Final determinations and recommendations by the Boundary Advisory Committee to the Board of Education will be shared at the November 28 Board of Education meeting. The School Board is anticipated to vote on boundary recommendations at its December 12 meeting.
