Oct 31, 2016 05:11PM ● Published by Steven Jack

Oswego Police and Kendall County Crime Stoppers are seeking assistance in the investigation of a downtown shooting that occurred shortly after midnight Saturday, Oct. 29.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kendall County Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 when an arrest is made as a result of a caller’s information.

Anonymous tips can be submitted 24 hours per day, seven days a week by calling Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999. Callers remain anonymous and are given a code number to be used for all future contacts.

Crime Stoppers does not have caller ID and conversations are not recorded. Cash rewards are paid for information that assists local law enforcement agencies in the identification and arrest of a perpetrator of a criminal offense, or a fugitive from justice, or information leading to the recovery of stolen property.

All rewards are disbursed in a way that maintains the caller’s anonymity.
