Hit and Run Driver Crashes into House: Police

A guard rail was damaged in a hit and run crash at 2:10 p.m. Nov. 26 at Oswego East High School, 1525 Harvey Road, Oswego Police said.
An unknown driver struck a home in the 200 block of Fox Chase Drive overnight Nov. 25 into Nov. 26, according to an Oswego Police report. No other information was made available by police.
Someone crashed into a cement structure at 2791 Route 34 sometime before 8:15 a.m. Nov. 24, according to Oswego Police.
Oswego Police are investigating an incident in which someone struck a mailbox, sign post and tree early Nov. 20 near Bellevue Circle and Kendall Point Drive and fled the scene, according to a police report.
A vehicle ran over a sign at around 7 p.m. Nov. 23 at River Mist Drive and Mill Road, Oswego Police said.
An unknown driver struck a school bus while trying to pass it at 4:11 p.m. Nov. 21 at Waterbury Circle and Ogden Falls Boulevard, causing damage to the bus, Oswgeo Police said. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police at 630-551-7300.
Mary C. Kennedy, 52, of the 200 block of Devoe Drive, was arrested by Oswgeo Police at 4 a.m. Nov. 25 on four counts of domestic battery, police said.
John D. Braaksman, 48, of the 1000 block of Union Street, Aurora, was arrested by Oswego Police at 2:39 p.m. Nov. 23 at Walmart, 2300 Route 34, on a charge of felony retail theft after allegedly stealing an item or items worth $629.20, police said.
Oswego Police are investigating a theft of mislaid property after a woman told police she inadvertently left $60 cash at the self-checkout at Walmart, 2300 Route 34, at around 2:09 p.m. Nov. 23. When she returned, the cash was missing, police said.
Kevin D. Falls, 26, of the 5100 block of Bernice, Chicago, was arrested by Oswego Police on a DUI charge at 7:19 p.m. Nov. 23 at Madison and Benton streets, police said.
Delivery of a controlled substance
Angel Trenado, 34, of the 100 block of Fox Street, Yorkville, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies at 3:33 p.m. Nov. 18 in the 0-100 block of Light Road on charges of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, police said.
100 mph driver
A female juvenile was cited for driving 100 mph in a 55 mph zone at Grove and Wheeler roads at 9:49 p.m. Nov. 20 before being released to her mother, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.
A 14-year-old boy was charged with a curfew violation after Kendall County deputies responded to a report of a runaway in the 0-40 block of Afton Drive at 12:56 a.m. Nov. 20, police said. The teen was located in the area of Longbeach Elementary School, according to a police report.
