No Injuries in Downtown Oswego Fire

Oswego firefighters were able to quickly douse an apartment fire that occurred downtown Sunday. 

According to the Oswego Fire Protection District, firefighters were dispatched to the 0-99 block of Main Street at about 5:40 p.m. for a report of a structure fire in the end unit of a five-unit apartment building.

After about 20 minutes, the fire was put out, and damage was limited to the apartment where the fire occurred. 

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, the fire protection district said.
