The race for the Oswego School District 308 School Board contains some new faces along with some familiar.

The deadline to file nominating petitions for the four open seats in the April 4, 2017 election was 5 p.m. Monday, and as of that time the following candidates had filed to run:

Toni Morgan, Oswego
Dominick Cirone, Oswego
Brent Lightfoot, Aurora
Robert Graves, Aurora
Heather Moyer, Montgomery
Matthew Bauman, Montgomery
Michael G. McDowell, Montgomery

The seats of Bauman, McDowell and Paul are up for re-election. The seat held by board member Greg O'Neil is also up for election; however, he has chosen not to seek another term.

Brent Lightfoot previously was a member of the board. He was unseated in the election of April 2015.
