Describe your business We are a pediatric focused chiropractic office that works with a wide variety of kids. We typically see two different types of kids in the office. Those without a diagnosis that are under care simply because their parents want them to be as healthy as possible, and to grow and develop appropriately. As well as those struggling with colic, ear infections, digestive issues, ADHD, Autism, seizures and developmental delays, to name a few.
Why did you start your own business? My wife and I opened Foundation Chiropractic because of the meteoric rise in ADHD, Autism, Sensory Related Issues and Developmental Delays, as well as the lack of pediatric trained chiropractors who are able to provide the appropriate care. While working in Crystal Lake, IL. with Dr. Tony Ebel, co-founder of EPIC Pediatrics and owner of Premier Wellness Chiropractic, not only did I learn the skill set and tools necessary to help these kiddos, but I also recognized the massive need for chiropractors who can improve their quality of life. We had parents traveling from Aurora, Naperville, and as far as Orland Park to get care from the office in Crystal Lake!
Tell us something unique about your business We are unique in that we focus on KIDS! And we have a particular passion for helping children and families struggling with ADHD, Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder, seizures and developmental delays.
What's the best part of owning your own business? The best part of running my own business is the FREEDOM to be myself. I often joke that I go to recess everyday, not work. I laugh and play with kids, and chat with these rock-star parents looking to improve the health of their family in a drug-free environment. In no way does it ever seem like a job.
