Oswego Man Charged with DUI After Traffic Crash

An Oswego man is facing several charges after a traffic crash late Monday afternoon.
According to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report, deputies responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries at about 4:45 p.m. Feb. 13 at Route 31 and East Anchor Drive.
When they arrived deputies found the driver, Cristian Cid, 36, of the 2000 block of Route 31, allegedly had run from the scene.
Deputies caught up with Cid a short distance away at Marlin and West Anchor drives where they found he had sustained head injuries.
He was transported to Rush Copley Medical Center for treatment where it was discovered he also had a fractured neck, the sheriff's office said.
No other injuries were reported by the sheriff's office.
Cid was charged with DUI, improper lane usage, no valid driver's license and leaving the scene of an accident, according to the sheriff's office.
