Election day is around the corner, again. This election is your opportunity to have a voice in the decisions that make the most difference in your life. You get to decide who you want to represent you in shaping the future of Oswego!
I have had the distinct pleasure to work with an incredible team for the past two years. In that short time we have worked to insure the financial viability of Oswego—even in the midst of uncertainty at the State level. We have moved aggressively to encourage redevelopment in our downtown. We have encouraged and developed shared services agreements to save dollars and efficiencies.
We really are: Building Oswego Together.
This forward thinking board brings a diversity of thoughts, ideas, and perspectives to our decision making—which results in better outcomes for Oswego. Judy Sollinger, Pam Parr, and Luis Perez are crucial members of this team.
Sollinger, Parr, and Perez are running for re-election on April 4th. They have earned my vote and I am confident in my solid and unbending endorsement of these three candidates. They are involved, committed, and engaged residents who want to do their best for you. When you decide who to vote for—listen to what they say, but more importantly, watch what they do. Do they attend community festivals, volunteer locally, get involved in all aspects of our community, and are they genuinely passionate about Oswego? Of those running for Oswego Village Trustee, only Sollinger, Parr, and Perez fit that description.
Early voting at Oswego’s Village Hall has already begun. This easy, accessible, and convenient way to vote ahead of the lines on election day is perfect for many of us. Whether you vote early or on April 4, please take full advantage of this opportunity to have a say in our future. Join me in voting for Judy Sollinger, Pam Parr, and Luis Perez to be your Oswego Village Trustees.
Gail Johnson, Oswego Village President
