DUI arrest in accident
Two drivers were hospitalized after a two-car accident at about 4:30 p.m. April 1 near Orchard and Lewis, according to an Oswego Police report. One of the drivers, Tommie Hosey, 35, of Yorkville, was arrested for DUI and driving with a revoked license after rear-ending the other driver, police said.
Silos spray painted
Two silos along Adams Street in downtown Oswego were tagged with spray paint sometime before 6:30 p.m. April 1, according to an Oswego Police report.
Elizabeth Angeletti, 33, of Montgomery was arrested for DUI, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a two car crash at about 11 p.m. March 30 near U.S. 30 and Harvey Road, according to an Oswego Police report. Angeletti was taken to the hospital after the accident, police said, while the other drive was not injured.
The Garden Faire in downtown Oswego reported to Oswego Police that someone stole about $250 in merchandise sometime before 9 a.m. March 30.
Asleep on the couch
A resident in the 0-99 block of Ashlawn Avenue reported to the Kendall County Sheriff's Office that when she awoke the morning of March 30 she found an man asleep on her couch. The man fled the area before deputies arrived. The Sheriff's Office said there is a suspect in the case.
Theft, damage to property
A resident in the 0-99 block of Surrey Road reported the theft of sunglasses and cologne and damage to a mirror and suitcases at about 12:20 p.m. March 29, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. The victim suspected a previous roommate, the sheriff's office said.
A juvenile was arrested for domestic battery and resisting arrest at about 3:40 p.m March 29 in the 0-99 block of Fieldpoint Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report. The juvenile attempted to run from a deputy who was investigating a domestic incident at the home, the sheriff's office said.
Garage spray painted
A resident in the 0-99 block of Fernwood reported that someone sprayed black paint on his garage door sometime before 2 p.m. March 29, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.
A 15-year-old Oswego boy was arrested for criminal damage to property at about 2:30 a.m. March 25 for an incident that occurred in the 300 block of Fox Chase Drive North, according to an Oswego Police report.
