Amanda Stanton, a 26 year old High School Softball coach at Oswego High School, was found deceased Sunday afternoon.

OnlyOswego.com had reported a suspicious road closure via our Facebook page Sunday afternoon on Plainfield Rd at Southfield Rd. A tactical unit as well as Coroner were on scene.

It is thought that Stanton was walking along the roadside after or during a local wedding ceremony when she was struck by an unidentified vehicle which left the scene.
