Yoga for Back Health

Have you always wanted to try yoga, but were afraid it might be too hard or hurt your back? Then this workshop is for you! What if there were something you could do - even at home - that could offer relief, healing or even prevention from flare ups? Join Kristen Accardo, DC and Chris Reber, CYT of Curly Girl Yoga Boutique as we offer natural solutions to relieving back pain - most of which you can do in the comfort of your own home. In this two-hour workshop, Dr. Accardo will offer a better understanding of the structure of the back and how it works in day-to-day activities. Chris will teach you healing and rejuvenating Yoga poses, called asanas, that specifically target the muscles and joints of the back and neck. She will also show how the use of props, supportive poses and meditation can offer the relief your body and mind need to begin healing. The workshop will be offered Thursday, July 10, 9:00 - 11:00 AM at Balanced Body Chiropractic, located in Mason Square here in Oswego. The cost is $30 Early Bird pricing and $40 after 6/30. Space is limited. Register today! Come dressed in loose clothing. You may bring your own mat or props - we will have equipment for you to borrow if needed.
