Oswego Junior Woman's Club

Are you looking for opportunities to give back to your community? Want to join a group of fun, goal-oriented, compassionate women? The Oswego Junior Woman's Club will be hosting a new member Meet & Greet on Wednesday, September 24 at 7:30 pm at Tap House Grill (123 W Washington St., Oswego). The Meet & Greet will consist of a quick informational session and time to meet and socialize with current members. Women interested in attending the Meet & Greet can RSVP to oswegojuniors@yahoo.com or via the events page on Facebook – www.facebook.com/OswegoJuniors. More information on the club can be found at www.oswegojuniors.com. Membership is open to all women in the local area. Annual dues for members are $50. The Oswego Junior Woman’s Club (OJWC) is a subsidiary of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC). It is one of the world’s largest and oldest women’s volunteer service organizations. The GFWC works locally through over 250 Junior clubs and has approximately 8,000 members in the United States. The GFWC members support the arts, preserve natural resources, promote education in various sectors, encourage healthy lifestyles, stress civic involvement and work toward world peace and understanding. The Oswego Junior Woman’s Club was formed in 2012 as a local charter under GFWC. “OJWC is a not-for-profit organization that supports the Oswego and surrounding communities through volunteer services and financial generosity with a focus on women and children.”
