Oswego Junior Woman's Club is collecting gently used shoes of any kind for Share Your Soles. You can drop off your donations at the Oswego Famiily YMCA during their business hours until Friday, October 23rd. Make a Difference Day is Saturday, October 24th, members of OJWC will be dropping them off at the donation sight. For more information about Share your Soles organization visit shareyoursoles.org. The Oswego Junior Women's Club (OJWC) is a subsidiary of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC). It is one of the world's largest and oldest women's volunteer service organizations. The GFWC works locally through over 250 Junior clubs and has approximately 8,000 members in the Unitied States. The GFWC members support the arts, preserve natural resources, promote education in various sectors, encourage healthy lifestyles, stress civic involvement and work toward world peace and understanding. The Oswego Junior Woman's Club was formed in 2012 as a local charder under GFWC. "OJWC is a not-for-profit organization that supports the Oswego and surrounding communities through volunteer services and financial generosity with a focus on women and children."
